Covid-19 Measures

 

To all our school community:

Considering the Sanitary Alert declared throughout the national territory to face the threat to public health caused by the worldwide spread of the Coronavirus (COVID19) outbreak, the following measures have been determined so that our students can maintain contact with the academic curriculum.

Playgroup Menor to Kinder,  the parents of this group of students will receive via e-mail, contents and activities to review and do with their children. The teachers will be available to answer doubts and offer support on a school schedule Monday through Friday. The Head Teachers will maintain permanent contact with their students and their families through emails, WhatsApp, videos and/or telephone.

 

The students will have one online daily class, 5 classes weekly.

 

 

 

1st – 4th, these parents will receive contents and activities to do with their children via e-mail . The teachers will be available to answer doubts and offer support from Monday through Friday on a school schedule. The teachers will carry out formative evaluations during the period. There will be no qualified evaluations. The Head teachers will maintain permanent contact with their students and their families through emails, WhatsApp, videos and/or telephone.

 

The students will have 2 online classes daily, with 10 weekly classes online.

 

 

 

5th – 9th grade, the students will use their Chromebooks to be in contact with their teachers and subjects. The online classes will be made via Zoom, Meet or other appliance. They will also be receiving contents and activities via Google Classroom, e-mail or other media. The Head teachers will maintain permanent contact with their students and their families through emails, WhatsApp, videos and/or telephone.

 

The students will have the 50% of their regular classes on an online format.

 

 

 

10th – 12th grade, the students will use their Chromebooks to be in contact with their teachers and subjects. The online classes will be carried out via Zoom, Meet or other appliance. Additionally they will be receiving contents and activities via Google Classroom, e-mail or other media. . The Head teachers will maintain permanent contact with their students and their families through emails, WhatsApp, videos and/or telephone. Also, the 12th grade students will have three weekly hours of PSU language  workshop and three weekly hours of PSU Math workshop.

 

The students will have the 50% of their regular classes on an online format.

On the other hand,

-The students from 5th to 12th grade will have their daily “Homeroom” from Monday through Friday from 07:50 to 08:00 hrs.

-The students receive optional work for art, music and physical education, weekly.

-All assessments are formative and not graded.

-The DAI through its program You Are Not Alone, sends advice and strategies every Tuesday and Thursday regarding mental and emotional health.

-As the study and work done at home does not take place as at school, all the subjects will be diagnosed, revised and reviewed when the face-to-face classes return.
