The past weekend of October 14-15 our different sports squads lived very exciting and fun days. On the following review, we take look at the highlights of our teams.

Our boys from Lo Barnechea had very tough matches in the Copa Soprole UC and the Alianza Francesa Tournament. Nevertheless, in every moment they kept their heads up.

The Infant category did not manage to beat Pedro de Valdivia School, being eliminated in the quarter finals. The Mini category also missed their chance to win against their rival of the same school, finishing off in 13th place, after reaching the round of 16. Despite this, we congratulate our Infant category for making it to the top 8 in the Copa Soprole UC and our Mini category for being in the top 16 of this prestigious and fierce competition.

In the Alianza Francesa Tournament, the Intermediate squad lost their games against Instituto Nacional and León Prado, but they gained valuable experience against top class rivals. The Superior category was defeated 3-5 by Instituto Nacional, however they managed to obtain an important win against León Prado by 4-3 score.

The female football squad gave a fantastic display in the Juegos Comunales – Under 16 tournament by beating Rigoberto Fontt school 7-0 and qualifying to the semifinals. For the Copa UC (5th to 8th grade) our girls had a tight game with Calasanz school which ended in a 2-2 draw. In the 7th to 12th grade category Lintac’s female squad dominated the whole match against San Carlos de Aragón School, winning by a 4-1 score.

We wish to distinguish our fathers for their memorable participation in the tournament organized by San José School. After showing great sportsmanship and effort, Lincoln Dads was crowned champion of the Silver Cup of this competition. Congratulations guys for this new title!

A new round of the Metropolitan League took place in Lo Barnechea campus when our girls played against Carampangue School. The Under 14 squad could not defeat their rival in their match, however the Under 16 team obtained an important victory in which Delfina Mège (10th B) was chosen Most Valuable Player (MVP). Congratulations Delfina!
