Music, arts, and performing arts
At Lincoln International Academy, the arts are not only a form of expression, but also an opportunity for the development of creative, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Through our musicals and festivals, we foster a passion for the arts and provide our students with the tools to develop as well-rounded artists. They also provide the chance to experience participation in group events, performing the role that motivates them the most.
Musicals and Festivals
We promote teamwork skills and passion for the performing arts with our musicals and festivals. Students not only perform with their respective instruments, but also develop a concept that encompasses visual imaging, costume design, choreography, choral work, scenery, production, merchandising, and ticket sales, among others. Finally, the students are responsible for building an artistic experience in which everyone has the opportunity to participate.
Musical learning
From very young age, our kids explore through music. From 6th grade onwards, students can explore their musical passion by forming a band, where they choose an instrument and develop their musical and interpretative skills. This musical training takes place throughout the year and concludes in festivals and musicals.
Art and performing arts learning
From playgroup our students discover arts by experimenting and exploring through different materials, techniques and resources. An innovation for 2024 is the launching of the Performing Arts classroom, which is made to develop this skill in our students. This classroom has an special lightning so students can explore both performing and staging, focusing on the creative process.
