Outdoor education
At Lincoln International Academy, we promote the love of nature and outdoor life is one of our educational priorities.
Since 2016, in collaboration with the Latitud 90 company, we have implemented an outdoor education program that ranges from 2nd to 12th grade.
This program is based on the conviction that only by knowing and interacting directly with their environment, our students will become future promoters and defenders of a more sustainable Chile.
Outdoor experiences, which include excursions and adventures, are an integral part of how we enrich the students’ education. It also prepares them for a future in harmony with nature and helps them develop a sense of belonging with the group.
Great examples of this are the visits to Santuario de la Naturaleza in 2nd grade and Aguas de Ramón in 4th grade, the trips to Portillo in 6th grade, Norte Chico in 8th grade, San Pedro de Atacama in 10th grade, and finally, Lincoln’s Route, a trip to the United States with students from 7th to 12th grade.
