Lo Barnechea Campus
John F. Seaquist,
Headmaster
John, married to Daniela Abumohor, is the proud father of Nicole, Belén and John R. As a Lincoln International Academy alumni, has been an integral part of the institution since 1994, performing several duties over the years.
In addition to his dedication to the school, John is an English and American Literature Teacher from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His solid academic background includes an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, PADE from Universidad de Los Andes and a Masters in School Management from Universidad del Desarrollo.
Thanks to his trajectory and dedication, he has held the position of Headmaster of the school since 2001. His leadership has been fundamental for the growth and educational excellence of the institution.
Francisca Flaño,
Campus Director
Director of Lo Barnechea campus since 2013 is an outstanding Santiago College alumni, 1993 generation. She began her academic career as a member of the first generation of Humanities Bachelor's Degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1994 - 1996), and then continued her studies in Psychology at the same university, graduating as a Clinical Psychologist in 1999.
Later, she obtained a postgraduate degree in Family Systemic Psychotherapy between 2000 and 2002, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her dedication to the educational field began at Lincoln International Academy in 2002, where she has played a crucial role to date. In addition, she has strengthened her training with a Master's degree in Imaginative Education, carried out in collaboration with professors from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada.
Francisca is also a high school English teacher, graduated from Universidad de los Andes, and has a Master's degree in School Management from Universidad del Desarrollo. She is currently committed to her role as an educator and leader, and enjoys her family life, marriage and being the mother of three children studying at Lincoln International Academy Chicureo.
Antonia Ortega,
Academic Director
Since 2015, Antonia has played a key role in the school as a History and Social Sciences teacher. Throughout her career she has assumed various roles, including head teacher, head of department and academic coordinator.
She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education in History and Social Sciences from the Universidad de Santiago and later obtained a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Evaluation for Learning from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She complemented her training with a Diploma in Didactics and Learning from Universidad del Desarrollo, as well as a Diploma in Instructional Leadership from APTUS Educational Potentiation.
Currently, in addition to holding the position of Academic Director, she teaches History and Social Sciences in Chicureo. She also works as an academic in Universidad del Desarrollo Education Faculty since 2011. Her dedication and academic excellence does not go unnoticed, being recognized by the students as the best teacher in 2015, 2017, 2020 and 2021.
Trinidad Velasco,
Infant School Principal
Elementary School Principal
Preschool Teacher from Universidad Andrés Bello, Master of Educational Phychology from Universidad de los Andes, currently studying a master’s degree in leadership and school management at Universidad del Desarrollo. She started working at our school as a preschool homeroom teacher and for 12 years she has been Principal at Lo Barnechea, currently Infant School Principal.

Magdalena Acuña,
Middle School Principal
High School Principal
Magdalena studied Chemistry with a specialization in Industrial Chemistry at Universidad Católica de Chile. Additionally, she obtained a teaching degree for High School from the same university. She holds a Master's degree in School Management and Leadership from Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD). School Alumni from our school, she began working 10 years ago as a chemistry teacher. Later, she assumed the role of head of the Science department, and for the past 8 years, she has been High School the Principal.

Paz Schonhaut,
Preschool Principal
Paz is a preschool Teacher from Universidad Católica and has a
master’s degree in education psychology from Universidad de los
Andes. She started her career at our school in 2010 as homeroom
teacher in kinder. From 2015 she is preschool principal.

Magdalena Escobar,
Elementary School Principal
Magdalena is an Educational Psychologist from Universidad Andrés
Bello and has a master’s degree in Innovation from Universidad del
Desarrollo. She has more than 11 years of experience working at our
school and has worked at Integral Support Department, known by its
acronym DAI, and has also been academic coordinator. Today she is
Elementary School Principal.

María José Mery,
Middle School Principal
High School Spanish Teacher and Organizational Communicator. She has
a master’s degree in leadership and School Management from
Universidad del Desarrollo and has more than 14 years of experience
working at our school. She has been a homeroom teacher and from
2016, she has served as Middle School Principal.

Silvia Méndez,
High School Principal
She was an outstanding student from Lincoln International Academy.
Proud school alumni, Silvia is a Spanish Teacher, and has a degree
in Hispanic Language and Literature from Universidad de Chile. She
has a master’s degree in leadership and School Management from
Universidad del Desarrollo. In 2013 she joined our school as a
Spanish teacher, she also served as assistant Principal and since
2015, she has been High School Principal.
