Each field trip is carefully planned by the teachers of each subject along with the area coordinators with the purpose of meeting the established learning objectives. Each field trip is developed according to the success criteria expected from each respective subject.

These field trips have multiple purposes that align with the school’s educational project, which seeks to be the best educational community for Chile. Our objective is to broaden the students’ horizons taking them to new or unknown places. For each field trip we design activities in which students apply the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired in class to analyze each experience.

These experiences allow students to practice what they are already learning within their classrooms and expand their understanding of different contexts and cultures. Along with field trips, we organize talks with experts in various fields, theater trips, and several other activities at the school.

These field trips are in line with the Finnish International Curriculum and the IB curriculum, as they promote a mindset of active lifelong learning, the development of critical thinking, and the holistic growth of our students.
